Barbod Energy was established in 2015 following years of accumulated experience in engineering, telecommunications and commercial services for the oil and gas sector.

At the beginning of its operations, Barbod Energy served as the Iranian country office and engineering & commercial representative of OPTILAN, a telecommunications EPC company with a track record dating back to 1992 and involvement in projects for major international energy companies.
